Embedded World 2026: What we saw, what it means
Insights from Embedded World 2026: Security is a priority, real-time visibility is rare, and the market is consolidating around fewer, more capable IoT providers.
IXT is growing its European sales team. Marko Vucenovic joins as Area Sales Manager,
based in Paris, covering the French market.
He brings more extensive experience in IoT cellular connectivity experience, including senior roles at well-known players in the global IoT connectivity space. His background spans industrial IoT, global market expansion, and cellular connectivity across Europe and beyond.
The move to IXT was a deliberate one.
“I’ve seen what truly works and what falls short. Most legacy operators still rely on patched-together roaming portfolios. I wanted to join a modern, IoT-native operator built from the ground up for sensors, machines, and IoT. Own core network, Zero Trust security designed in from the start, and a platform that simplifies rather than complicates. IXT is that operator,” says Marko Vucenovic, Area Sales Manager at IXT.
France is a strong market for this kind of offer. Industrial companies are dealing with tighter ANSSI requirements, ongoing GDPR enforcement, and connectivity setups where security was never part of the original design. Add the ongoing 2G and 3G network sunsets, and many organisations are facing real exposure without knowing it.
Marko’s view on this is straightforward.
“You are taking unnecessary risk. One breach, coverage gap, or compliance issue can cost millions in downtime, fines, or lost business. Stop patching together old SIMs from operators never built for modern IoT. The future is IoT-native.”
Raymond Berntsen, CSO and Co-Founder at IXT, sees the hire as a natural next step in building local presence across Europe.
“France is a serious industrial market. Marko has worked across the full IoT connectivity stack, at scale, with customers who demand results. Having him on the ground in Paris means we can have the right conversations with the right people,” says Raymond Berntsen, CSO at IXT.
IXT is a full MVNO operating its own core network, covering 600 mobile networks across 190 countries. Its products include a global IoT SIM, real-time connectivity management, and Zero Trust security built natively into the SIM layer, without requiring client software on devices.
